How Does Live Printing Work at a Fort Worth Event?

We freight the presses and blanks to Fort Worth ahead of your date, fly the crew in, build the station inside your venue and print each piece while the guest stands there. Each guest waits about two minutes from blank to hand-off, and a press runs up to 60 shirts an hour.

Four stages of a Fort Worth job

  1. Quote. Send the date, the venue and a rough headcount. You get an itemized number inside 24 hours, and travel sits on it as one flat line that doesn't grow with the guest list.
  2. Art and blanks. We set your logo up for the press or for DTF film. Art should be final about a week out, which is also when the blank order (XS through 4XL) locks.
  3. Ship and load in. Our shop is in Fullerton, 1,190 miles away as the crow flies, so the gear goes as freight and the crew flies. At the Fort Worth Convention Center that means a dock time and electrical ordered through the venue. A Stockyards event space may only need a door and a clear path for road cases.
  4. Print and strike. We test-print before doors, print straight through your run-of-show, and pack out when you're done.

The flow is the same for an arena night at Dickies Arena, a Sundance Square hotel ballroom or a ranch venue outside town. Power and cover are what change. Outdoors between May and September we want shade over the station, and a ranch site usually means a generator. If the date moves, we need a week's notice to re-book the freight. Tell us about your event and we'll map the setup.
